Hinges cracked but holding. Binding weak. Pages clean, tanned. Pictorial cloth is heavily edge worn with overall shelf wear as well. Gilt letering and gilt/black design on front is bright. Spine cloth is torn and chipped at top and bottom. Lettering and design on spine is darkened but still visible. Very heavy scuffing on back. Complete copy that would be well served with rebinding. ; Important, detailed history of the Revolutionary War campaign culminating at King's Mountain, South Carolina. Steel engravings, maps. ; Ex-Library; 9.5" tall; 612 pages.
