Manchester, Great Britain: Thomas Dinham & Co, 1860. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+. Small 8vo. 1st edition. Small 8vo. 162 pages with a number of good illustrations by James Stephenson and William Norton. A fascinating local book by the noted Manchester author Richard Wright Procter. In original half leather binding with most attractive marbled end papers which bear unobtrusive pieces of Sellotape. Top edge gilt. The binding is very pleasing in morocco leather with raised bands and gilt work on the spine. The binding shows hardly any wear. Internally a very good tight copy. Very Good+.
