[6], 3-251, [1] pp. Grey and blue patterned cloth boards (designed by Dulac) with gold lettering on the spine. Price of 7/6 net on the spine panel of the dust jacket. Dust jacket designed by Edmund Dulac. With two full-page illustrations by Dulac and with illustrated initials and an occasional in-text decoration by Dulac. Hughey 77. A striking book in an arresting jacket: Beauclerk's novel concerns a fallen angel who falls in love and fits in neither Heaven nor Hell. A bookplate on the front pastedown, one leaf with a wrinkle and a 1.5 c.m. hole worn into a small portion of the pageblock's bottom edge; jacket with light edge wear and a tiny discoloration on its spine panel.
