Text block edges have light foxing. Slightly faded to top edges of the boards. Top fore-corners lightly bumped. Top edge of the front free endpaper has been removed (likely previous ownership information). Tiny soil spots on the title page. Otherwise the inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. The dustjacket has edge wear, heaviest at the spine ends and with a chip to the front bottom edge. The spine is somewhat faded and foxed on the reverse side. Shelf rubbed with light scratches. Still attractive overall. One of a series of children's stories based on the Maggie Muggins CBC radio / television children's program from the late 1949s thru early 1960s. Like the beloved Anne of Green Gables, Maggie is also a red headed and pig-tailed charmer. .
