Bound in custom brown half calf by J. Larkins over marbled boards, spine in six compartments separated by raised bands, gilt lettering in two compartments, gilt tools in remainder, t.e.g., marbled endpapers. Illustrated with 13 full-page, hand-colored, engravings on steel, and 84 B&W in-text engravings on wood, after John Leech. . The corners and edges are slightly worn, else fine; unmarked, tight, squar, and clean. All of the illustrations are clean, fresh, and bright. NEAR FINE.. Engravings. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. xii, 407 pp .
