First Edition in unclipped original dust jacket. Clean black cloth boards with small white star decoration on cover, clean bright yellow cloth spine with red and black lettering. A little wear at base of spine, lower front board edge. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound, but there is some fading at base of spine and a little cracking to cloth along outside spine edges; pages and edges are clean. Clean blank endpapers - no names, writing or marks. 310 pages. Clean dust jacket is not price clipped, has edge chipping at base of spine, narrow chipping at top edge of rear panel; nice photo and brief bio of author on rear panel. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Novel about a colonel in Algiers, who has to face the problem of what to do about his ex-wife, his mistress, and his civilian life. Good reading copy of a very good novel..
