About This Item
St Martins Pr, 1981. Book. Good +. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). First Edition.. Good+ hardcover in Good+ jacket. First Edition/First printing. SIGNED/Inscribed by author on FFEP. Light black mark to bottom text edge. Mild edge/cornerwear. Light scuffs. Binding solid. Page faces all clean. Binding solid. Jacket unclipped and clean. What appears to be a paperclip indention to front top edge. Corner nicked along with two short tears to edges. Clean/solid. 206 pp. What makes this particular book so valuable is that it is SIGNED by the author, James Oxford - a Pseudonym for a " Best selling Author known to millions" as the jacket states. The Inscription reads; "To __, with love James Oxford a.k.a. Rick Raphael - 1981". Raphael, author of 'Code Three' and other Sci fi favorites was thought to be commisioned to ghost write Night of the Falcon by Marvin H. Albert who originally was suppose to write the book but hired Raphael in the end. Raphael's signature matches other's I've checked it against, however there is no public listing or reference for who exactly the James Oxford Pseudonym is/was. In turn, my price reflects this being the first (and only as of now) book shedding light on this information. 206 pp..
