Prescot: T. Stephenson & Sons Ltd, 1955. 1st. Hardback. Very Good/Good. First edition hardback, 1955, with unclipped jacket. In overall very good used condition in a good dust jacket with minor signs of age, handling and storage - dust jacket rubbed and nicked to edges (now protected); boards clean and crisp. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - includes several press-clippings loosely inserted; tanning to page-ends but text, maps to endpapers and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Retains the original North Atlantic Seaway page-marker. Photographs available. Not an old library book.
