Norwalk, CT: Easton Press. Near Fine. 2019. Hardcover. This beautiful LEATHER BOUND copy was produced by the Easton Press by arrangement with Potomoc Books, an imprint of the University of Nebraska Press. The lead author was a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Air Force, and has written a number of books relating to Military History. This copy contains a complete history of this important battle during World War II and includes numerous photographs as well as a few maps that document the progress of the battle. The book is bound in a full blue leather binding with gilt spine and cover lettering; the spine has raised bands, and all five compartments are decorated; all edges are gilt, and there are silk moire end papers as well as a yellow ribbon book mark. This is a beautifully produced book and is in very nice condition with no owner names, book plates or other internal or external markings. It is designated as a "Collector's Edition" with a 2019 date, but no indication as to whether it was part of the publisher's Military History Collection. This is an uncommon Easton Press book. ; Collector's Edition Series; B&W Photographs, Maps; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 191 pages .
