About This Item
Iowa City: The State Historical Society of Iowa, 1977. Staple-bound Softcover. Very Good. The pages of this copy are crisp and clean except for small, stray ink marks in the left margin of one page; the stapled binding shows some rust spotting but remains secure; the soft cover bears three small, light brown spots on the back and a line of edge chipping along the spine, otherwise clean and excellent. 40pp. Articles include "The Adventures of the Nineteenth Iowa" by Donald M. Anderson; "Iowa's First Fatal Casualty in the Civil War" by Leland L. Sage; "An Iowa Private in the Civil War" by George A. Hanrahan, and a complete index for Palimpsest issues in 1977.
