Cannes / Paris: Aime Maeght Editeur, 1945. First edition / limited edition. One of 950 copies on Vélin Vidalon, signed by André Marchand. Soft covers with integrated wrapper. Bright colour original lithograph to the covers. A slight touch of rubbing / bumping to the covers, otherwise in excellent condition, now protected with archival plastic. Inside are short contributions by many authors: Pierre Emmanuel, Gabriel Audisio, DH Lawrence, Raymond Queneau, Antonio Machado, Paul Eluard, Gaston Bachelard, et al. These are accompanied by 50 (including covers) original lithographs by Marchand. Pages are in excellent, fractionally darkened condition. There is a tiny amount of nicking to the bottom edge of the front end paper. 86 pages. 24cm x 21cm. , Première édition / édition limitée. Un des 950 exemplaires sur Vélin Vidalon, signé par André Marchand. Couverture souple avec jaquette intégrée. Lithographie originale en couleurs vives sur les couvertures. Légers frottements / bosses sur les couvertures, sinon en excellent état, non protégé par du plastique d'archivage. L'ouvrage contient de courtes contributions de nombreux auteurs : Pierre Emmanuel, Gabriel Audisio, DH Lawrence, Raymond Queneau, Antonio Machado, Paul Eluard, Gaston Bachelard, etc. Celles-ci sont accompagnées de 50 lithographies originales (couvertures comprises) de Marchand. Les pages sont en excellent état, légèrement noircies. Il y a une petite entaille sur le bord inférieur de la première page de garde. 86 pages. 24cm x 21cm.
