Toronto: Collins. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. ©1946. Hardcover. 434 p. 18 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Tiny white streak to top front edge. Spine title gilt has dulled. Gift inscription dated 1953 on the front free endpaper. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked, with some toning. Dust jacket has heavy edge wear, including tears, chips, and creases. Shelf rubbed with light scratches. Stains on the reverse side. Not price clipped. An anthology of work of over one hundred and fifty authors, all of which deal with Canada in some way. Includes extracts from longer works, poems, etc. There is section of black and white photographs of Canadian scenes, art, buildings, etc. Illustrated throughout and on endpapers with woodcuts by Laurence Hyde. .
