Forest green cloth with gilt cover lettering, 179 pages. The book is in very good condition with light edgewear including mildly rubbed joints, corners and spine ends, sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with no names or other markings. More than a hundred poems by the minister poet, divided into subjects: Sentiment and Thought; Farm Life; War Poems; Nature's Beauties; Humorous Poems; Poems for Children; In Memoriam; Poems to James Whitcomb Riley; Patriotic Poems; Religious Poems. .
