London, UK: King Penguin, 1945. Hardcover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 32pp, 16pp colour plates in rear. Pictorial paper-covered boards; some black and white illustrations. 12mo. Backstrip absent, corners rubbed and rounded, some paper loss. Text block edges tanning. Front hinge cracked and stretching, tanning and foxing to endpapers, '13' in blue biro on front free endpaper; rippling to rear pastedown, small loss at fore edge. Internally clean, neat and bright.
