Small scuff to fore-edge of front cover and a little rubbed on rear cover. Faint remains of pencilled price on first blank page. Otherwise, inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. A history of the town of Port Hope, Ontario located on the Ganaraska River in Northumberland County. Includes historic and contemporary photographs (the latter by John de Visser) and a foreward by Farley Mowat, who resided in the town for many years. .
