New York: McLoughlin Brothers. Very Good-. 1882. Hardcover. 93 p. 24.5 cm. Quite sound and square binding in beige, cloth-covered boards, with gilt titles and coloured illustrations on upper board. Small split to the spine gutter on upper board. There is a crease to the upper board through its length. Worn at the corners and overall soil to both boards. Previous owner's name and date in pencil on the front free endpaper. Both sets of endpapers have some soil and and tanning. Inside pages are lightly tanned, generally clean and unmarked, and with one dog-eared bottom corner. An edition of Daniel Defoe's classic story of Robinson Crusoe, rewritten in words of one syllable for young readers. Includes six sharp and clear full colour plates. .
