About This Item
Blue cloth covered hardcover boards with yellow lettering on spine. Hardcover well preserved, binding tight and text clean. Former owner's name and magic marker cross-out on front paste-down, endpaper. some age toning to text.
DJ has very minor edgewear, chipping and tiny open tears to head and tail of spine. Original $3.75 price still intact, Front DJ flap corners clipped.
This work is a saga of a rugged individual whose vitality and ventures were part of California's early history, whose grandiose gestures and persoanl scandals added plenty of color to that pioneering period. An odd bit of regional Americana.
