Orange boards, black titles & decorations, 250 pp, bound without endpapers (first & last pages of book block are pasted directly to boards). Paper browning and brittle, 2 cm tear to top of preliminary blank, extremities rubbed. DJ has large chips (2 X 5 and 2 X 7 cm) to top edge with loss of parts of titles, other smaller chips, spine sunned; in Brodart archival cover. Rather striking designs on dust jacket and boards. Juvenile story about the adventures of young crew members aboard a lighter-than-air ship making daring rescue mission flights before going into service as a passenger liner. Written before the Hindenburg disaster when the famous Zeppelin and its competitors were the most luxurious way to travel by air. Shipping weight 1 lb.. . Good/Good. 21 X 14 cm.

Books are offered subject to prior sale. You may return any book within 14 days for a refund; if it was not as described, we will also refund return shipping costs (but please e-mail us first). You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order. Sales tax is collected by Biblio and remitted directly to your state, where applicable. SHIPPING IN UNITED STATES: Books are priced postpaid, so there are no additional shipping charges for standard shipping. We will ship via Priority Mail for $12.00 per order (Save on multiple-book orders!). This may be reduced if actual postage is less than for a medium flat-rate box. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: In most cases, shipping via Biblio's consolidated shipping program via Asendia is the cheapest option on orders up to 5 lbs. International shipping rates are complex (cost depends upon weight and destination), so please feel free to email us for a quote before you order. If the actual cost of shipping is more than the automatically quoted rate, you must approve the additional charges before the order will be shipped. Shipping charges will be reduced if shipping weight is under 3 lbs. All shipping charges (except via Asendia) include 17% to cover Biblio fees and commissions that apply to these charges.
