Very good hardcover shows a heavy bump at bottom edge of front cover, bookplate at front pastedown and a piece of scotch tape to both pastedowns as well, else tight and clean, in very good dust jacket that shows rubbing and soil, edgewear that includes closed tears and tiny open chips, and with scotch tape mends at reverse. 574 pages with index and a couple sets of black & white plates. Solid copy in jacket of this "..unique and remarkable contribution to American History.
