Also inscribed on the front blank page by book editor Carlton Lake to Bill Targ. 1984, First Edition. Softcover. 185 pp., illustrated, includes 434 entries. Near Fine. Minor shelfwear. A fantastic associaiton copy, inscribed by Beckett, with an unbeatable provenance. In addition to Beckett Roslyn Targ represented Italo Calvino and Chester Himes. Bill Targ was an editor at World and then Putnam's, as well as a major bookc ollector.
