About This Item

1972 hardcover as pictured. A rare copy, an engaging history of the James Thomas and Drury Bridges families from the time of their immigration to North America to 1840. It traces the clans' movements from Virginia to North Carolina and ultimately Kentucky with many illustrations and photographs as well as an extensive index. This copy is inscribed and signed by the author on the FFEP. Binding is firm. Red cloth boards with gold stamping are clean and show minimal wear. Text appears clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is rubbed, and tanned at edges with a small tear at upper front corner. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s OD2
