Brenton set out from Lake Michigan in a canoe made from a hallowed-out cashew tree. He planned to sail to Senegal and return to the United States via a hot air ballon. Stamp from the Chicagoland Canoe Base, business of the legendary canoe maker Ralph Frese. Chipping to the dust jacket at spine ends and corners. Boards stained with white substance, text block not affected. Good.
