About This Item
Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 5/8" by 5 5/8" by 1 3/8". Dark blue cloth binding, gilt lettering and detail to front board and spine. A little marking and scuffing to binding but quite clean and colouring still vivid. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Slackness to binding, cracking to front inner hinge and strain generally to hinges but book contents reasonably firm. Page edges a little browned, scuffed and a bit marked. Upper page edges gilt. Prize-giving bookplate from 1928 on front pastedown. A little marking to endpapers, the odd mark to page surfaces throughout but otherwise clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
