New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1981. First edition and first printing. Hardcover. 112 pages. Lopez's fifth book, a collection of short stories from the author of the National Book Award winning "Arctic Dreams" and the acclaimed "Of Wolves and Men." A tight close to near fine copy in black cloth boards with some foxing to the top edge of the pages and some slight toning to the rear endpapers from a laid in vintage newspaper article and in a near fine dust jacket with some slight sunning to and along the spine.
Synopsis
Barry Lopez is the author of six works of nonfiction and eight works of fiction. His writing appears regularly in Harper's , The Paris Review, DoubleTake, and The Georgia Review . He is the recipient of a National Book Award, an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and other honors. He lives in western Oregon.

Books are subject to prior sale. Libraries, institutions, and accredited dealers in the United States can be sent books with invoice. All books noted as First Editions are also First Printings unless indicated otherwise. Books are returnable for any reason within 10 days provided they are returned in the same condition they were sent.
Biblio collects all sales taxes for the appropriate states.
