About This Item
This 224 page hardback remains particularly well-preserved; the RARE 1ST EDITION printed in 1851 by Lane & Scott! About 50 women from the Old and New Testaments are included in this classic. Goodreads states: "IN this book, the author has sought to contemplate Woman precisely as the inspired pen has represented her, so far as she has arisen to view in the divine history of God's providential and gracious dispensations to mankind, and so far as that pen may have sketched more didactically her true position and duties."
Very Good+! NO MARKS! All pages are intact, not marred by any notes, underlining or highlighting. NOT ex-Library. There is a name, a personal stamp & an ExLibris inside. The spine is undamaged; no creases with bright gilt lettering on spine with a design. Binding tight, hinges strong. Text block has a few stains & minor foxing to pages. Textured black board is excellent on the front & good on the back with some small dampstains; NO rips, tears, or corner bumps. Edges not rubbed. The pictures depict the actual book you will receive. Countries other than USA will require additional shipping cost. Ships with Tracking Number! Don't forget; this is not a reprint but the RARE 1ST EDITION printed in 1851 by Lane & Scott!
