This hardbound book is in good condition overall with light age toning to the page margins, normal bumping to head and tail of the spine, and light overall shelf rubbing. [i-vii], viii-xviii, 118p, and 46 b&w plates on 40p; the last 3 leaves of the plates section has lightly wrinkled near the gutter. This is an association copy. It includes a newspaper clipping of Theodore Sizer's obituary from the New York Times, Thursday June 22 1967; a stapled pamphlet reprint of Sizer's article "John Trumbull, 'Patriot-Painter,' In Northern New York, which has been inscribed with Sizer's initials; two b&w 8"x10" photographs of one of the portraits featured in the book, one with Sizer's notes on the back; and three handwritten letters from Sizer to the person who owned the portrait at the time.
