His books include Legends of Rock (White Star). Joe Satriani, a guitar virtuoso who has received 14 Grammy nominations for his solo album compositions, has played with Mick Jagger, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, and Steve Vai, one of his many students who became rock stars. Adrian Belew is one of rock’s most versatile and prolific guitarists.
