Contemporary owner's gift inscription on title, light dampstain causing some warping to the pictorial boards, thus good only in a good only dustwrapper with corresponding dampstains, extremities worn with chip on bottom edge of rear panel.

Houghton Mifflin Company, 1938 Oblong. Boards have rubbing at top and bottom, some soiling to back. Book is a bit loose in front and back but overall tight throughout with a few tears and creasing to pages, not affecting any text or pics. Illustrated in color and b&w by author.
