Photo-illustrated softcover published on the occasion of retrospective exhibition to mark Steichen's 82nd birthday. Inscribed by Steichen to Marty Forscher, who ran a renowned NYC camera repair shop and was repairman to a Navy photographic unit run by Steichen during World War II. Photocopy of Forscher's 2009 NY Times obituary laid in. Steichen had a long career in photography, as an art photographer, photojournalist, and curator. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
