Tanning to edges, and light soil and wear. Small piece missing from front lower corner of front endpaper. Former owners' signature. Good, overall. This collection features Davis' coverage of such unique events as "The Millenial Celebration at Budapest" and "Cuba in War-Time". Illustrated with sketches; in "With the Greek Soldiers" (pages 193-257) in the Greek and Turkish tumble of that time, the illustrations are photos taken by Davis. He was pioneering journalist in several senses of the term. Davis' report from Cuba, sparked U.S. interest in the struggles of the Cuban people.
