About the author

Bernd H. Dams and Andrew Zega have co-authored and co-illustrated four books, including Pleasure Pavilions & Follies: In the Gardens of the Ancient Regime (Flammarion, 1995) and Palaces of the Sun King: Versailles, Trianon, Marly (Rizzoli, 2002). The artists' work is regularly featured in numerous periodicals, as well as major architectural journals.
