by Mace, Paul.

From the publisher

The East Riding Yeomanry went to France in 1940 with outmoded light tanks and many were captured while covering the retreat to Dunkirk. Back in England the reconstituted regiment was equipped with mine-clearing Shermans and other specialized tanks, which were used in the D-Day landings and the advance through France and Germany.
