Description:
Soft cover. Very Good. A fundraiser in support of the local Community Archives, this collection features vintage photos, local history, and plenty of recipes worth handing down. Despite a few food spots and one little splash that waved and warped but does not obscure an Apple Pudding recipe, this is still a very good copy. Many of the recipes will appeal to those looking for something sweet, but there are interesting savory dishes as well, like the simple expedient called "Shipwreck" (beef, potatoes, onion and soup) from the Murdock Family, Frank Jameson's Chili, and a Welsh Lamb Stew also known as "Cawl". Coil binding. B&W photos. A few local ads.
