Justice was the driving force in Blake's life. He was no stranger to suffering, but unlike most men he would not let adversity win over hope. Naturally skilled in the art of confrontation, he defied all who would set themselves above him, even those who sat in black robes and thwarted true justice. Judges within the child custodial courts and law enforcement agents could not curtail his unconventional methods directed against them. Blake was consumed with the cause of justice not only with the legal system, but also with the church. He exposed the efforts of a church's intervention against him and revealed their hypocrisy at a great cost to him and his opponents. Always persevering and sometimes faltering, he gained the necessary knowledge and experience of the judicial system to make him an effective helper to others in similar straits. Due to his tireless efforts to see justice prevail, Blake, and others like him, has been effective in challenging the ill-effects of the landmark Violence Against Women Act. Known for its comprehensive protection of women, the act was also misapplied against men, causing suffering and gender bias since 1994. Consequently, a congressional committee is currently reviewing VAWA with the aim toward removing its gender bias and thereby supporting the plight of marginalized and battered fathers. Father Injustice will inspire those in the struggle to overcome.
