He has been interviewed by "Fox & Friends," CNN, ABC World News Tonight, and serves on the boards of the Fatherhood CoMission and the Christian Film foundation. He and his wife, Jill, live in Albany, Ga. with their six children and are active members at Sherwood Church.

Kathy Strawn has been writing kids' curriculum for LifeWay Kids for over 40 years, including kids' versions of the Beth Moore Bible studies: Jesus the One and Only and The Beloved Disciple and Priscilla Shirer's Unseen: The Armor ofGod for Kids. She has taught Sunday School and discipleship classes for children for many years at First Baptist Church, College Station, Texas, and now assists her husband in their Ministry of Education by consulting with churches about their children's programs.
