Success All the Way Paperback - 2016

From the publisher

In reality, success means different things to different people.Everyone desires success in what they do. There is hardly anybody that is satisfied at an existing level of life; no matter the accomplishment. Success can be described as the courage to let out the existing dreams and potentials inside self and giving them a space to spring out. Most people are scared of venturing into what is not a routine, but those that have tried it realize it is a normal track of life. The ancient Greeks had two famous sayings: "Man, know thyself" and "Moderation in all things." Taking together, those two ideas, are a good starting point for achieving the balance that you desire. With regard to knowing thyself, it is very important to give some serious thought to what you really value in life. All trade-offs and choices are based on your values, and all stress and unhappiness come from believing and valuing one thing and, yet, finding yourself doing another. Only when your values and your activities are congruent, do you feel happy and at peace with yourself- from "Brian Tracy's e-book, Principles of Success."In the business world, success is more achieved through hard work and determination than the quest for advantage and favoritism. In a physical combat, competition works; mental success requires originality and persistence, and political success means being able to comply with what will lead to victory at a given time. Once goals are set, success is determined by the right route that reduces time to fulfillment. Life question papers are different for each person, cheating leads to failure because the answers are so different from your own. "That longing for a life without difficulties reminds us of oaks that grow strong against the directions of the winds, gold that passes through hot furnaces and diamonds that are made under high pressures..." - Peter Marshall. Since there is no hard rule for success, it then means people should define their success, which is tied to change. Success cannot be visible without a visible change. This usually occurs after changes in thinking, action and attitude to certain life issues. Change originates from within to outside and from there it becomes observable and imparting. Within the mind, there must be a turmoil and desire to uncover issues related to breakthroughs or roots against progress. These hidden issues are keys to breakthroughs which could rightly be termed - success. Before the occurrence of the change, there must be drivers within and outside the person or organization that will bring forth the change. The first factor should be driven by dissatisfaction that makes the position or zone which was conducive and comfortable to become otherwise. Discomfort is born of anxiety to leave to another level. Solutions depend on the ability to change the mindset, thinking style, and behavioral and attitudinal propensities as well as to believe in one's abilities. Everyone passes through discouraging situations, but those that pull through them do so by learning how to handle the challenges that accompany them. Problems cannot solve themselves. People must solve them to move on. Being relaxed, or expecting them to go away leaves the person unaccomplished.
