Gift inscription (I think) in Russian on the verso of the front free endpaper else a clean copy in a tight binding and a bright, unclipped dust-jacket. All text in English and Russian.

Illustrated in color throughout. Green cloth boards stamped in gilt on the spine and upper panel. Tight binding and a bright, unclipped dust-jacket. All text in English and Russian. Gift inscription in Russian inside front cover. Inscription is "with respect to Rita Rodriguez" who was a Director of the Ex-IM Bank in the 1990s. The signature is not clear, but one knowledgeable native Russian speaker and reader thought it might be of Yeltsen! Stamp of Ms. Rodriguez inside front cover. The English translation from the Introduction, describing what this book is about: "In this album we are going to show not silver ashtrays in the shape of a muzhik's bast-show like that which was displayed on the desk of the famous character depicted by Turgenev.
