Sophianos has written a short chronicle of the monastic city of Meteora and also the chapter that examines in detail the history of the Monastery of Hypapante. The murals of the monastery are discussed by L. Deriziotis, who was in charge for their recent cleaning. The rich photographic material of the book includes a complete series of the wall-paintings (dated exactly at the years 1366-1367).
