About This Item
Philadelphia: Williams, Brown & Earle, 1938. Fine. 7.5 x 14.5 cm. metal desk calendar with individual leaves for Dec. 1938-Dec. 1939 printed in red and brown. The others each have the main month in the center with smaller versions of the previous and following months on either side. With the original envelope, which has a small Christmas illustration on the front in red and green. Williams, Brown & Earle was established in 1890 by Henry S. Williams, N. In the early 20th century they sold a stereopticon, popularly known as a magic lantern, but by the 1930s they were focusing on strictly scientific instruments.
