Fine cloth first printing of first edition with gilt lettering and Fine DJ in protective Brodart mylar cover. Gift inscription "To Mama" on half title page and ink check mark next to the title of the first novel (Tess...). Otherwise, everything is flawless. Spine is straight and tight. Gilt lettering crisp and bright. all corners sharp. No markings (except as noted above), creases, or tears. DJ is perfect except for a crease at the upper corner of the rear flap. Not ex lib, not clipped, no remainder marks. 892 pages.
