In Spanish. 1986 signed first edition and association copy, Ediciones Nauta (Barcelona, Spain), 10 1/4 x 9 7/8 inches tall brown cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, copiously illustrated with black-and-white and color photographs and reproductions of artwork, 97 pp. Covers very slightly rubbed. On the blank front free-endpaper, nicely inscribed and signed by author Jordi Sunol to the former owner, the late great sax player and bandleader Benny Carter (1907-2003) and his wife Hilma. Slight soiling to page facing the half title page. Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a slightly edgeworn dust jacket with a bit of chipping to the upper spine caps but which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~SP14~ [3.0P] Featuring many color reproductions of the jazz paintings of Barcelona painter Ramon Aguilar More (1924-2005), known for Modernist interior scene, portraits, figure, and genre painting.
