E-377. Very Good in Good+ dust jacket. Hardcover. Hardcover. 8vo. Harcourt, Brace & World, Inc, New York. 1958. Unpaginated. Signed limited first edition printed on rag paper that precedes the first trade edition; copy 232 of 300 numbered copies signed by E. E. Cummings. Slipcased in a paper slipcase with a paper title present to the front board. Glassine DJ has shelf-wear present with several large pieces missing from the panels of the DJ. Bound in blue cloth boards with gilt titles present to the spine and blindstamped titles present to the front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Published in 1958, 95 Poems is the last book of new poems published in Cummings's lifetime. Remarkable for its vigor, freshness, interest in ordinary individuals, and awareness of the human life cycle, the book reflects Cummings's observations on nature and his prevailing gratitude for whatever life offers: "Time's a strange fellow: more he gives than takes." EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
