About This Item
London: The Automobile Association by Cassell and Company Flexible but firm textured covers, without dust jacket, in forest green with very bright and clear gilt lettering to front cover and spine, undated (but the Introduction refers to the first edition, known to be published in 1925, and "---its publication three years ago", making this edition around 1928), lxxx + 24 [The Key Maps to the Itineraries] + 520 pages, plus 20-page coloured London Throughway Map and a 24-page coloured section of Road Maps (and countless black-and-white itinerary and city maps within the text); 668 pages in total by my count and book is remarkably still tight in binding, very gently used, hardly a trace of shelf wear other that gentle bumps to covers, top edge age toned, interior very clean and unmarked. See also our listings for The National Trust Guide to Late Medieval and Renaissance Britain: From the Black Death to the Civil War, and for something completely different (and monumental!), Discover Scotland: The Sunday Mail Guide to Scotland's Countryside: [Magazine] 1989, Volumes 1 - 52 (except #27 missing).. Soft Cover. Very Good ++.
