Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed.Book has a forward lean. The clipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends. Light tanning to spine and edges. Loss to spine ends.

Longish owner's presentation inscription. Jacket has one inch pieces missing at head and foot of spine, various other smaller chips, tears, some minor tape reinforcement to verso. Front panel is pretty much intact and presents well.

Published by Collins Clear-Type Press. Hardback. Good. Almost very good condition with no wrapper. Orange cloth with black titles and vignettes. Colour frontis. 288 pages. A chunky volume. Spine and corners bumped. Fading to spine and cover edges. Some foxing else contents clean.

London: Collins, 1950. Price-clippeddustwrapper has a lot of tears and creasing, with the top left and bottom right corners being missing on front panel. Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of blue boards, some fading where the dustwrapper pieces are missing. Original owner's school prize label dated 1951 on f/ep, she has also written her name above this and on inner flap at the back of the book. Some yellowing to the pages, but otherwise a not too bad copy of this hard-cover book, one of the "Camp Keema" sub-series of the author's "Abbey School" books. Originally published in 1938, this is a later reprint from 1950, one of the publisher's "Seagull Library" series. 288pp.. Hard Cover. Good/Poor. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
