Original green cloth, debossed rules front and rear, gilt lettering and gilt decoration spine, original brown coated EPs. The book has clean covers, rubbing at spine ends, solid binding, old owner name on first blank page dated 1884 otherwise no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing. The book measures 294mm tall x 142mm, and has 436 pages + [4 pages ads at end], color frontispiece illustration, b/w title page engraving, large folding map in rear pocket. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
