the Western Australian Art Gallery, Perth, 1975. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Various. 500 g; (2), 66 pages in original light brown cloth covered boards, slightly flecked towards the top and bottom, with illustrated dustwrapper which has faded on the spine section. The dustwrapper has 2 short tears on the top edge of the front panel and slight rubbing of the same. Previous owner's name on the pale blue front free end page. No other damage to describe. "Today the gallery's collection of aboriginal art includes some 400 items, which are all recorded here. I have deliberately chosen to draw the objects and render them simply black-and-white images rather than to photograph them, in order to emphasise the great wealth of invention and imagination of the aboriginal artists." -- Page 2 Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
