A FIRST EDITION, First Printing ("A") from 1950, this hardcover book has matte black cloth-covered boards with the author's name in gilt to front cover, faded gilt to spine. Condition is VG: very clean, binding straight & strong, pages surprisingly white, with tanning to endpapers. Heavy foxing to fore edge, lighter to other outside page edges.
