Columbian Book Company, Hartford, CT, 1872. 8 1/8 X 5 1/2" in green cloth with gilt cover decoration. EX-LIBRARY. Covers a bit soiled and discolored, but not bad considering age. Spine somewhat faded. top of spine fraying. Front hinge just starting to crack. Engraved illustrations. The author walked across the U.S. beginning in N.C. and ending in California. The old west as seen through the eyes of a traveler 133 years ago. D.D.. F. Hardcover.
