The role played by the approximately 90 African American soldiers who fought alongside white compatriots in the 1930s war in Spain. Review copy with Macmillan review slip laid in which shows publication price of $40. Couple of small board corner bumps, and a few small creases at top of dust jacket. No price on jacket, but not clipped.
