This is the autobiography of an Army and Air Force pilot from his initiation into the army in 1940 as an underage enlistee to his retirement in 1960. The author tells of his service in World War II, Korea, the Cold War, and the Middle East. He gives detailed descriptions of the planes he flew as a pilot/engineer, his experiences in flight training, and his family life as a frequently moved military officer. A clean very presentable copy.
